Budget

The Budgeting Subcommittee meets as needed and is overseen by the Executive Committee’s Treasurer and composed solely of Board Members, coordinates the annual Statement of District Needs reflecting district-wide priorities. Each fall, the board submits this statement to the City as part of the budget process; this fall’s submission will be for Fiscal Year 2027. Suggestions or questions may be sent to [email protected] with the subject line “District Needs Assessment”.

Brooklyn Community Board 6 is updating our annual District Needs Assessment, which guides city budget priorities for our neighborhoods. The survey builds on priorities identified in our FY2026 Statement of District Needs (CB6 FY26), including housing, climate resilience, transportation, parks, and access to essential services. Your feedback helps us identify and advocate for the resources our community needs most.
