Committees
Committee composition is limited to 21 people, the majority of whom will be Brooklyn Community Board 6 Board Members, with others being Non-Board, or Public, Members of the committee. Term of appointment is for one (1) year effective September 1st.

- Transportation, Parks, Public Infrastructure, & Public Safety
- Business Affairs and Licenses
- Human Services and Environmental Sustainability
- Executive Committee
If any of these committees interests you, consider applying for public membership.
As of August 2024, the number of public committees has been reduced from six to four (excluding the Executive & Budget committee). This should allow members of the community to more reliably have a monthly meeting place to discuss intersectional issues within the district.
