Committees

Committee composition is limited to 21 people, the majority of whom will be Brooklyn Community Board 6 Board Members, with others being Non-Board, or Public, Members of the committee. Term of appointment is for one (1) year effective September 1st.

• Land Use, Landmarks and Housing
• Transportation, Parks and Public Infrastructure
• Business Affairs and Licenses
• Human Services and Environmental Sustainability
• Executive Committee
  • Budget Subcommittee

As of August 2024, public committees have been reduced from six to four (not including the Executive Committee). This should allow for members of the community to more reliably have a monthly meeting place to discuss intersectional issues within the district.
